A standing ovation for the years 5 and 6 performance.
What a week!
‘Aladdin Trouble’ was a triumph, I am immensely proud of all the children in years 5 and 6, you are incredible! For weeks the children have worked their socks off to make the show a success; endless hours spent at home and in school learning lines, practising songs and making props. So thank you to all the children and their grown-ups.
On Wednesday we said a very sad goodbye to Michelle, who is moving away in order to be closer to family. We would like to wish her all the very best in her new adventure. We miss you already!
The majority of us have finally finished our Viking longboats. The children have thoroughly enjoyed their latest DT project, and because of their hard work the boats have turned out great!
In addition to all of that we have also completed our ‘All About Me Books’ ready to hand into our form tutor on their first transition day (Monday 2nd July) to secondary school. Just a reminder, children should attend their transition days in their Homefield uniform. I know some children are feeling nervous about their transition days, which is normal, but try and enjoy yourselves guys. I can’t wait to hear all about when you return to Homefield.
Now… bring on Whitwell!
