Heading towards half term!

With only a week to go before half term we've been cracking on with our work in Year 6.  In literacy, there has been some great work planning our conversational poems, ready to write up and then perform at the end of the week.

Maths has seen us investigating prime numbers along with factors and multiples and making a start on using the exchange method in subtraction (get your kids to explain it to you!).

In P.E. we've had our last week with Mr Carr, teaching us gymnastics.  Not only have we been learning how to do handstands and headstands, but we also had the equipment out this week to extend our skills.

In science we're finishing learning about light and shadows. How light travels, how shadows are created, and how we can manipulate light using mirrors and reflections.

Just a quick reminder, all three pieces of homework should be handed in by this Friday (21st). Whilst many children have brought in an amazing array of homework, we are still awaiting some from some children.
