After-School Club gets a new mobile phone to stay in touch with parents.
It has been another strong week of learning at Homefield, with some particular highlights worthy of note to you all.
Firstly, the Junior cross country runners performed wonders and showed the true Homefield spirit of growth mindset and resilience to all finish a very challenging race through freezing conditions at Fritton Lake. Special mention must go to those who qualified for the next stage of the competition, but extra-special mention must go to Rafferty Edwards, who blazed a path to glory finishing first in her Year group.
I have been very impressed with the attendance at the Bingo and Fish night, as well as by the money raised from it. Thank you all for attending our school events. Don't forget the Coffee and Cake drop-in morning with me on Monday 30th January from 9:00-9:40. Apologies for the short notice, but it is a terribly busy time at the moment and I have to grab at the available slots when they present themselves. It will be good to chat positively about the school with those who can make it.
After-School club has been refreshed and we have an even better provision, as well as a new mobile phone to stay in touch with parents should they be delayed or unable to raise a member of staff upon arrival. A letter has been written and will go out Monday, although you can have an advanced read of it in the Letters Home section under News and Events tab on our website. Here you can also save the mobile number in your phones should you need it.
Have a great weekend everybody!
