Another long weekend is here!

As we enter into another Bank Holiday weekend, I reflect back on this week and think of the highlights and the moments that have inspired me.

Seeing the Holy Trinity Mural take shape has been a real delight; a permanent fixture that will inspire all that pass by each day.

The Year 6 children have performed well in their recent Calculations practice. So keep this going. Sharing worries and overcoming concerns was a real benefit this afternoon in circle time. I hope all of them will attend SATs breakfasts, enjoying a fun and relaxed time in preparing them for the tests. I am sure each will play their important part in creating a lasting camaraderie, that only those who have been through a Year 6 class will know. Resilience, focus and calm are key to the SATs week, and as long as they all give their very best in the right frame of mind, no one will ask anymore from them.

It was great to cover Year 1 on Thursday morning. I learnt lots of new things about the 1960s. I loved seeing the outfits they wore to the Bridewell Museum. Very groovy!

Have a lovely long weekend and I will see you on Tuesday.
