Revision is underway.
This week we have been going over lots of things to remind the children of previous things that have been taught. We will be starting our SATs the week of the 15th May and they'll continue over two weeks.
In maths we have looked at multiplication and division. In literacy we have continued with our lighthouse adventure stories.
In science we have looked at different habitats. Next week we will studying what can be found at a coastal habitat to prepare us for our trip to Happisburgh on Friday. Thanks for getting the trip money in so promptly; it really helps Mrs Robson in the office to get everything sorted out.
Just a reminder that we said the children can wear clothes of their own choice on Friday because it is an outdoors trip that requires comfort and warmth. Sensible footwear is a must. Please look at the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Also we said if your child would like to bring a little bit of spending money there is a small gift shop. No more than £5 in a named purse or wallet would be advisable. Also the timing of the school day is as normal. If your child would like a school packed lunch please inform the school office no later than Thursday morning.
Our attendance has been good for the past 2 weeks. We have won the attendance race two weeks in a row so we have had the pleasure of Attendance Ted's company (the school bear) in our classroom.
A few of you asked about a taekwondo club. We are hopeful that we will be able to offer one after the Whitsun holiday on a Friday after school here at Homefield. Listen out for more details on how to sign up.
Have a great weekend. See you on Monday.
