Miss Studley has 'tyred' us out (tired zzzzzzz)
Thank you for a great year. The Year 2 class of 2016-17 has made me smile every day, there are always challenges but ultimately this has been an exceptional class to teach. I thought this picture, taken this week, captured a special moment. We had just run the 'morning mile' and we were having a rest.
I have spoken to the children about having an enjoyable summer and trying to remain as active as possible. 30 minutes of exercise every day will make them happier and healthier so they can return spritely for the new school year. It's great to see more and more children joining in with the Junior parkrun at Gorleston Cliffs every Sunday morning. We have played a lot of tennis this week and there are some talented players. In particular Cruz, who kept a rally going with me for ages!
Thank you for the cards and gifts you have given me this week; they are very much appreciated. Miss Clark is going to keep the weekly blog going when your children are in Year 3 so I will part with one final secret phrase of the week.
Best wishes from Miss Studley and the Year 2 team.
