Today we were lucky enough to go on a trip to the Theatre Royal to see Awful Auntie. The children were impeccably behaved and it was a joy to see them roar with laughter. Our secret word this week is David Walliams. Bonus points rewarded if you can name any of the other books that he has written!

Over the past couple of weeks we have been looking at a video called 'The Dream Giver' as a writing stimulus. The children have thoroughly enjoyed this and we cannot wait to read their finished stories. In maths we have been continuing with addition and subtraction. Our topic over the past 2 weeks and next week is science. We have completed some work about forces and magnetism. Yesterday we started our work about light.

Starting on the 19th November we will begin a DT unit. Please can all children bring in a small shoe box for our pneumatics project between the 19th and 23rd November.

A reminder that we have gymnastics on Mondays and outdoor PE on Wednesdays. As the weather is starting to get colder and wetter, please ensure warm clothing, trainers and a carrier bag for muddy trainers is in school at all times.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss C and Mrs A :)
