In the swing
We are now at the end of our 2nd full week now and I am really beginning to see the progress that your children are making.
We invited Mr Young into one of our science lesons this week. We recreated a demonstration of the digestion process when food reaches the stomach. Ask your child about it.
This week's blog will be short and sweet as it is already getting late and it has been a long week. One thing I will be really looking out for next week is more children putting their hands up in lessons to answer questions. I seem to have the same core of children doing most of the work and I know more of them are perfectly capable of pushing themselves harder.
We have a little reading test on Monday. Some of our time next week will be spent planning our assembly that we will be delivering to you the following week on 5th October.
Look out for a letter regarding the details of the Year 4 residential. I have to start planning that early although we are not going until May.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming back Miss Thompson on Monday who has been away for two weeks.
The secret phrase is 'God's Persevering Love' which is our theme for the assembly. There will be extra points for anyone who comes in with ideas of what we can actually do during that collective worship on October 5th.
Miss Studley and the Y4 team.
