A cracking end to the Spring term

In this section...

Community spirit in abundance as we deliver Easter cards to the local residents.

We have finished the Spring term on a high. Monday was such a beautiful day so we decided to deliver Easter cards in the afternoon. We ventured out to Sycamore Avenue.  Some residents were gardening, others were pottering around in their garages.  We greeted each resident we met with a smile and a kind sentiment.  It was a truly special experience.  We even met a few friendly dogs.  Thank you to the kind gentleman from number 31 who donated £5 to our school fund.

Our topic next term will be World War 2.  We're all very excited about that.

The meeting for Kingswood will be on Friday 27th April at 2.30pm in the school hall. Come along to find out what we will be doing and ask any questions.

Thank you to Miss Thompson who has given up several lunch times to work with Abigail, Ava, Chanel and Ruby C.  They have made some beautiful bracelets.

Twelve Year 4 pupils made an Easter bonnet for our parade this morning. Thankyou for making the effort they looked great.  Each child has been given a photograph as a souvenir.

I will set some more homework on spag.com for the holidays. We are also having another push on times tables.  Another grid was given out today.  Please look at it with your child or encourage them to regularly. I can't express how vital it is for your child to master their tables.

Reading and library books were collected in this week but we would love you to keep reading over the holidays. Any reading counts. Let's get those signatures in and make it another 100%.

Have a fabulous Easter break.  Keep safe.  See you all back for the start of our Summer Term on Monday 16th April.

Secret word is 'Kingswood'. From Miss Studley and Miss Thompson.
