Pupils and Staff show fantastic effort and attitudes towards new approaches!

Well, we have all finished our first full week back together and I have been thrilled with the early impact of the new initiatives. Walking the corridors and popping into classes has shown me strong pupil engagement, fabulous mixed age collaboration and a genuine buzz about learning.

I am pleased the changes to the timetable have been swiftly adopted by all too and I am very positive that better progress will be achieved.

Congratulations to the newly appointed House Team Captains. I look forward to working with you over the course of the year.

Attendance was strong across the school with two classes achieving a joint win of 100%. Well done to Year 1 and Year 4. Year 5 have some catching up to do, as they fell below the County 95% threshold.

Year 4 travelled to Gressenhall for their Victorian day. I await the photos from the trip, but you all looked very appropriate in your Victorian costumes. Surely, Victorian school was not as good as today?

Hopefully, you have all signed up for the clubs you were interested in. If you have not made it on to the list this time, we will take names for a reserve list in case pupils change their minds.

Have a relaxing weekend and return raring to go on Monday again. Be safe!
