Weekend arrives on the eve of Bonfire Night!
I hope you all had a restful and relaxing half-term. It has been pleasing to see the manner in which pupils have returned, ready to continue their efforts and hard work. As the weather and temperature is worsening, please ensure your children have appropriate clothing for the conditions, particularly coats and tracksuits for outdoor activities.
The Art Exhibition at the beginning of the week celebrating what was covered last half-term was amazing. The quality of work and evident progress was strong and I was pleased with the different artistic techniques in practice. Thanks to all parents and relatives who visited the gallery, we received some very positive feedback. We hope you are all enjoying these additional invites into school to celebrate in the learning journey of the pupils across the different subject areas.
Thank you also for the parental surveys completed at parents' evening. Over ninety percent of parents answered positively to all questions. Please remember, if you do have a concern to come in and speak to us, as we cannot help if we do not know.
Attendance this week showed that everybody, but Year 5, was above 95%. This week's winners were Year 2 with 100%, narrowly beating Year 4. Please keep this up guys.
Next week, we have the individual and sibling photographs (Tuesday), our community Remembrance Event (Thursday) and the Junior trip to the theatre to see Awful Auntie (Friday). So lots to look forward to.
Please enjoy your weekends, but remember to be safe and responsible if attending any bonfire/firework evenings.
