Week ends with Bring and Buy Sale for Children in Need.
Thank you for all the donations for our Bring and Buy sale in aid of Children in Need. There were so many different books, games and toys.
Coincidentally, this week was also Stand Up to Bullying week and the Caring Crusaders led a collective worship assembly on this theme - the pupils have also had this message resonated through their PSHE lessons, particularly with cyber-bullying.
Attendance this week was won by Year 4 with 98.18%. Hopefully, all classes will remain as high as they have been recently. Harriers also won this week's team points race.
It was great to see the Girls' Football team playing against Woodlands this week for their first team outing. Although defeated, I was pleased to hear they really enjoyed it. The Boys' Football team took part in the tournament last week and despite, three draws and a defeat narrowly missed out on further progression to the semi-finals. However, it has identified some genuine team spirit and commitment to being victorious in the future. The boys have another cup fixture against Peterhouse on Tuesday 21st November away.
As a date change, the children's Christmas dinner will now be on Thursday 6th December.
Next week, we have our Read, Share and Review session for Junior classes only. We hope you will attend. Please remember you can come in at any point from 2:20PM to see the children's work with them.
Have a lovely weekend.
