Christmas Fayre's A Real Highlight

In this section...

Busy week at school culminates in our PTA Christmas Fayre extravaganza.

The Senior Citizens' lunch was another success this year and I was very proud of the Year 3 children for their welcoming and articulate manner and positive behaviour. The pupils were a credit to the school and their parents.

The Decoration Day was a really positive event too. Thank you to all the parents for coming in to not only work with their own children, but also for assisting those pupils who did not have anyone with them.

The Christmas Fayre on Saturday raised some much needed funds for the school. Thank you to all visitors for helping us achieve the total. There were so many different stalls, as well as Santa's Grotto. I hope you all enjoyed the occasion. Of course, this would not have been possible without the PTA volunteers and staff helping to organise everything. Our gratitude must also go to them.

Attendance this week was won by Year 3 with 98%. Well done to them. House Team Points were won narrowly by Swallowtails with only a single point separating first and second place. It is a much closer battle between the Houses this year.

Next week, we have the EYFS Nativity performances, so we hope to see you all there supporting. We also have the Cross-Country at Bure Park and the children's Christmas dinner.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
