Pantomime leads to staff-dance off!
From YMCA to the Macarena, from Gangnam Style to Baby Shark. What a wonderful medley of classic hits, which saw Miss. Clark and I strut our stuff for the audience's entertainment. Thank you Mrs. Clarke for the special request to the M&M Production team. I now feel a life's ambition has been fulfilled.
The pantomime of Aladdin was highly entertaining, once again, and all pupils enjoyed the performance, with one child telling me they laughed the whole way through it. Next year, the team will return with Jack and the Beanstalk.
We have had a busy week of Computing in school. The recent upgrades over the Christmas holidays have really helped the strength of our provision and I have been impressed with the terminology being used by the pupils. Children were learning about debugging and programming, with classes using a variety of devices and applications. It is very important that pupils remember and use newly-acquired vocabulary, so we hope they have been coming home with these new words. Feel free to use the knowledge organisers to help reinforce these terms at home.
Attendance this week was won by Year 1 with 98.63%. Year 2 and Reception attendances dropped below 96% this week, with Years 6 and 4 extremely close to the threshold.
Next week, we have the start of our enrichment sessions with Go Geronimo in Parkour.
Hopefully, the weather improves for you all to have a relaxing weekend.
