Colour and Comedy rule the day!

An extremely busy week ended with the worthy Comic Relief cause. It was great to see the pupils in such fine colour.

I have been so pleased with the pupils this week, particularly with their behaviour, but also with their dedication and application to learning. On Tuesday, the Governors came into see the school in action and were pleased with their findings in how polite, caring and enthusiastic the pupils were. This was further highlighted on Thursday, when Years 4, 5 and 6 travelled to ENSFC for a fabulous art day looking at clay work, sculpture and printing. The pupils and staff loved it and some skilled work was produced. We hope further trips to ENSFC will take place in the future.

Attendance was won jointly this week by Year 6 and Year 1, who both had 99.33%. Reception and Year 3 fell below the 96% threshold. House Team Points was won by Harriers.

I am disappointed that so many much-needed fixtures have had to be cancelled recently in the football for many different reasons, but we will do our best to rearrange them. There are more matches booked in for next week. Fingers crossed we do not have to cancel these.

On Thursday 21st March, I believe the Year 2 parents are invited to attend a KS1 SATs meeting after school. Hope you can make it.

Have a great weekend everyone!
