Final Full Week!
Although today was a successful day with the Summer Fayre being in full swing, we had to say a fond farewell to Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Roling, who have been at Homefield for several years. Gifts and thanks were offered to two stalwarts of the Homefield family.
Attendance was won by Year 4 with 99.33% and Hawkers won the House Team Points race for this week; with that team looking favourites to take the overall win for the year. Well done to everyone connected with Hawkers and Year 4.
On Monday, some of the JLT travelled to Horsey to hand over the cheque of money raised from the Save a Seal campaign. We also did a beach clean and filled a couple of sacks of rubbish, particularly plastics from the shores.
Tuesday saw Homefield University Graduation, which was brilliant because we had the largest number graduating. It really was a special occasion.
Thursday saw the rain change our plans to walk to the Attendance Reward Trip venue, so I became minibus driver extraordinaire shuttling bus loads of pupils to the cinema. Everyone got there safely and more importantly without getting wet. I definitely needed a rest after the last trip.
Thank you to all parents, who returned their report slips; the winner will be drawn next week. There were some fabulous comments made in response to those of the teachers, and it proves what a massively positive impact Homefield has holistically on our children.
Next week, we will have the delights of the Leavers' BBQ and Assembly, as well as the Reception class trip to Bewilderwood.
Have a restful weekend everyone!
