Harvest Festival sparks interest in how things are celebrated around the world!
This week seems to have flown by again with some speed. A strong learning environment has been seen across the school and it has been a pleasure to be back in the classroom to see how the pupils have been settling in. Thank you Year 3 for that privilege.
I am disappointed for the EYFS staff with the parental turn out for the EYFS Tapestry Workshop. We had only four parents take part, so thank you to them for their time. Remember workshops are put on to inform and involve you in different areas of the school and to support you with helping your child at home. Hopefully, future events will obtain a much higher attendance.
Attendance this week was won by Year 3, but Year 6 attendance has dropped and remains below the required threshold of 96%.
Next week, we have the KS2 SATS, Year 6 parents' information session on Wednesday 25th September at 3:15pm and the Macmillan Coffee afternoon on Friday 27th September from 2:30pm. I hope you will be able to attend.
Have a relaxing weekend.
