Our new versions of Parent-Teacher Meetings are a success!
We have completed our first week of parent-teacher meetings and I am pleased to say despite some early Google Meet glitches with our new webcam/microphones, the teachers have enjoyed them and received some fabulous feedback about them. I am thrilled that so many of our parents signed up online for a call or Google Meet session. If there are any parents, who did not book themselves online, please email the teacher to arrange a phone call at another time. The sessions will continue next week until half-term. Autumn interim reports will be sent out after half-term.
The school was lucky enough to have Leanne Humphries, proprietor of George Grai Photography, visit to take some staged and action shots of pupils in order to update the websites and brochures. I wait to see what they are like once they have been edited, but I wanted to highlight how well behaved pupils were during the shoot.
I am also hoping to have some internal refurbishments undertaken inside school to increase the toilet facilities available. Hopefully, once organised this will be completed in the near future.
Mrs. Newman and I held some interviews and I am thrilled to say the groups of children working with them were superbly engaged and polite. Again, another exemplary display of how well our pupils adapt to different situations.
Next week, we will launch another online booking system for the clubs available, mainly for the sports for Years 1, 2 and 3. Please do not sign up again for any musical instruments, if you are already booked on and are planning on continuing.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and stay safe.
