We remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.
It has been a positive week highlighted by the lovely Remembrance event held on Wednesday. There were some well thought out class contributions and these made this area very decorative. The children marked the two minutes silence well and it was a pleasure to see.
Children in Need took place today and again restrictions prevented the usual light-hearted games in the Hall, but classes completed Pudsey-based tasks. Thank you for helping us to raise over £250.
As a school, we will be working on Christmas elements for the next few weeks. These will not be the cute performances we have all been used to for so long, but COVID-Secure adaptations.
Tempest have caught up with the miss-placed pupil photographs, so the purchase slips will be sent home next week. Next week, is also Anti-Bullying Week and we would like to mark this occasion by getting the pupils to wear odd socks on Friday 20th November.
Year 2 have a Great Fire of London specialist coming in on Monday afternoon to stimulate their interests further in the topic. This should be great fun.
Have a safe and relaxing weekend everyone.
