World Book Day On Eve of Full Reopening & Return

World Book Day sees Masked Reader triumph!

Well this week we have been able to plan for a full re-opening and return of all our pupils on Monday 8th March 2021. We hope everyone is raring to go and ready to embrace being back. We understand some families (parents and/or children) will be anxious about the school reopening fully. Pupils need the school routine of academic learning and they need to reignite their social development amongst their peers. We are all so keen to see them again.

Thursday was World Book Day and teaching staff decided to entertain the pupils with the Masked Reader quiz, where each of them read an extract from a certain children's story. Can the pupils guess which member of staff it is from picture, accent or story clues and then guess which story is being read? It has also been posted on our Facebook page, so good luck everyone.

Next Thursday, it is hoped that the pantomime from M&M Productions will finally be in school to entertain the children. This year, due to COVID, we have had to adapt it to ensure everyone remains safe. Across the day, there will be three viewings for three separate classes. This will be Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 only.

Please remember the safety parameters the school expects.

Have a wonderful weekend as families and we will see you all on Monday. Stay safe everyone!
