Gazebos to Euros!
It has been a fabulous week for the weather and it provided us with a great opportunity to get the gazebo cleaned and primed for the graffiti workshop on Monday for the Year 6 pupils and artist Andrew Wilson to transform the gazebo into a lasting mural of how Homefield promotes the beauty of Diversity and celebrates difference. The J.L.T. worked really hard along with Mrs. Thompson. Great effort everyone! Ihave no doubt it will look stunning on Monday.
This week's House Team Points race was won by Hawkers and Year 1 showed an amazing reading effort by getting twenty-four of the class to read at least five times over the week. Superb triumph!
It was good to get the class photographs re-taken, as they simply were not good enough for parents the first time around. It was also great to see the Leavers' photographs that were taken too. It will be such a shame to see that year group go off to High School.
Next week, the "R" is Reflectiveness and we will be virtually presenting how wonderful Homefield is to our new Reception parents. This will be on Thursday 17th June at 4PM.
It is also the beginning of the Euros in football, so get behind our home team and wish for an England victory.
Have lovely weekend in the sun everyone, but be safe.
