Decoration Day and Community Christmas Fayre kick-off the festivities.
School's Christmas celebrations started in earnest last week with the Senior Citizens lunch, followed by Decoration Day and topped off with a winter wonderland at the Christmas Fayre.
It was fantastic to see so many senior citizens at our Christmas dinner with Year 3. The children were superb at chatting and sharing stories with them. It was also lovely to see the choir perform for them. The food was extremely tasty too.
Decoration Day saw parents come in to help pupils prepare goodies for the stalls at the fayre. Several gave up their time to come in and get themselves covered in glitter and glue. Thank you for your time. Apologies must go to the final group of parents, who seemed to get overlooked, while they waited patiently in the Hall. I think the Junior Leadership Team got too engaged in their models to remember their duty.
The Christmas Fayre on Saturday went down a storm. So lovely to see all those visitors, families and pupils past, present and future. Thanks must go to the PTA and all the helpers for creating such an event and helping to make it a true success. You will be pleased to know that we raised £1,731.76, which we will use wisely to improve the school further. Thank you all once again.
Do not forget the Church Carol Service on Monday 5th December 2016 at 6:00 pm.
