Another busy week....
We have had a very busy week this week, as the children have been completing the termly assessments. These include 2 maths papers, a spelling paper, a grammar paper and reading paper. We have tried to make these as least stressful as possible for the children, and actually they seemed to have enjoyed showing off what they can do, which is great! Due to the tests this week we have not had full maths or English lessons, but the children have still been going over their times tables, and writing short sentences.
Due to the weather being still quite wintery, PE on Thursdays is mostly conducted inside at the moment. The children seem to be enjoying the children's yoga which we are doing, as they are enjoying learning new poses.
The children have also started new art lessons with Ms. Howard on Wednesdays, this should be a lovely, fun and interesting lesson each week, and a chance for them to be creative.
We ask you to please continue to read with your children at home as this really does help their progress, and we thank those who are.
We hope you have a lovely weekend.
