Super Science and Enthusiastic English!

We have had a fantastic week this week and we have worked very hard. Miss Clark is delighted with how we have all been giving things a try and joining in during class discussions.

The photo above was taken during German today. We have been learning some simple greetings and today we practised writing some of them.

In English we have been using a short film called the Dream Giver. We will be using this as inspiration to write our own fantasy narratives next week.

This week was a science week. We were learning about animals including humans. We focused on learning about nutrients, skeletons and muscles. This unit was thoroughly enjoyed and we all made super progress.

Next week will be an art week. We will be learning about some different European artists. The artist that we will be learning about on Monday and the secret word is Anselm Kilfer. If you can find out an interesting fact about him extra team points will be awarded.

Congratulations to the 8 children who were super readers this week. However we would like to see lots more children achieving this. We apologise that rainbow words have not been checked over the last few days. This was due to the children having to complete their autumn English and Maths assessments.

Have a lovely weekend and keep on reading!
