We hope you all had a wonderful half term. The children have worked super hard this week and they have produced some fantastic work.
In our English lessons we are working towards writing instructions. We are using the book How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth our class text. We had great fun cleaning blue paint off of the compare bears and using imperative verbs to explain what they had to do.
In maths we are continuing with addition and subtraction. Some of us have found this a little challenging but we have all worked very hard.
Across the whole school this week we have been learning about incarnation. We talked about what this means and as a class we had some thoughtful discussions about it. We were really interested in looking at a piece of art work that represented the events in the bible. In Year 3 we focused on Jesus as light. We made our own tea light holders and then wrote our own prayers or reflections.
Next week will be a science week. We will be learning about forces and magnetism. Therefore the secret word is magnetism.
Have a lovely weekend!
