Happy Half Term
What a hard-working 7 weeks it has been in Year 3. I am so proud of your resilience, determination and progress. You are all superstars!
We have really enjoyed our new Jane Considine The Write Stuff approach to writing, after half-term we will be completing our 2nd independent write which is a set of instructions.
We have continued to tackle fractions this week with a positivity and enthusiasm. We will finish our fractions work after half-term and then spend some time focusing on balanced equations.
We have finished our Science unit about forces, magnetism and light. After half-term, we will be doing Music, DT and Computing.
I have not set any homework for the half-term, but I have encouraged children to continue with reading, Hit the Button and Spelling Frame.
Here are the links for Hit the Button and Spelling Frame;
Your secret word this week is York, this is one of my favourite places to visit in England. Bonus team points if you can find out any interesting facts about York. There is a cat cafe there, and I am sure you will all be very shocked that I always have to go there when we visit York.
Hope you have a wonderful half-term break that is full of sunshine and happy memories.
