Glue, sequins, pine cones, wool, stars, turkeys and more glue!
Decoration Day was a real success. Thanks to all of the parents who came in to help. A massive thank you must go to Miss T for organising all of today's activities. She is very creative and loves to get messy. It means a lot to your children when you can get in to support their activities.
The children have been busy with their DT projects too this week. They will be on sale at the Christmas Fayre tomorrow. Hope to see you all there. They will be priced at £3. This week's featured photo is George looking proud with his wire loop model. I'm sure it will bring lots of fun over the Christmas holidays.
We have two full weeks of school left (and two days) so we will be continuing with the hard work. Your child should have a 'spelling cauldron' in their book bag. It is a list of their personal spellings from their own logs. It is one of many ways we promote spelling. Please spend some time going over them with your child.
Reading numbers haver slipped a bit this week. Let's keep strong until Christmas. They can read their Christmas wish list to you; it all counts.
Please spend some time on Times Tables Rock Stars this weekend because we are doing a block on multiplication and division at the moment and those children who are weak on their tables are at a noticeable disadvantage.
Our new English unit is recounts.
Look out for the Christmas carols lyrics sheets that will be coming home during next week.
See you all at the Christmas Fayre. If you can't make it and you would like to buy your child's model, please bring £3 into school next week.
The secret word is 'miracle'.
Have a great weekend,
Miss Studley and Miss T
