Festivities well under Way

In this section...

Pa Rum Pum Pum Pum

Amidst the Christmas festivities, we have been continuing to work hard.

In English we have just finished our recount unit. We used the short film The Snowman as our stimulus for this work. Ask the children about it.

In maths we are continuing with our multiplication and division unit. We are now starting to multiply by 6.  Thank you to those of you who did the bonus homework from last week. Those children earned extra team points.

I hope you found the Knowledge organiser for RE in your child's bag. Share it with them to help them to understand aspects of the block.

Thinking ahead to next week....a reminder that we finish on Tuesday which is party day.  I hope to see everyone wearing their Christmas jumpers and non-uniform.  We are not asking for party food this year.  Instead, we will provide a drink and one or two treats so there is no need for you to worry.

Thank you to those of you who managed to come to the Key Stage 2 carol service.  I'm sure you will agree that it was beautiful; a great way to get into the mood for Christmas.

This week's secret word is 'Rudolph'. Have a wonderful weekend.
