Now you see it, now you don't!

I have been very pleased with the number of children from my Spelling Attack group returning their homework on time.  I have also seen an increase in the number of reads at home which is great.  Thank you for all the support you are giving your child as it makes such a difference to their overall attitude to learning.

If you are a Harrier and you are reading this blog please encourage other Harriers to do the same as it has been disappointing that only 1 or 2 Harriers are doing so each week. Hawkers are by far the most determined and thorough; well done Hawkers!

I hope you have noticed the 10 in 10 activities coming home every day. Please go through them with your child if you get a chance.  Let them show you their score and help with the ones they got stuck on. We do go through them in class but a little bit of over learning is very helpful.

What happens to the water when it is boiled in the kettle? Ask your child to explain the process of evaporation and condensation to you.

In English we have been doing some super creative writing to create settings and characters for our adventure stories. We will be planning our stories further next week so if they have any ideas over the weekend that would be a great help.

Most children are really good at remembering to bring their reading book and diary into school every day, please ensure you are one of them.  We are lucky enough to have a governor read with us every week but she can not write a comment if there is no diary in school.

Have a lovely weekend.  The secret word is 'evaporation.'
