The end of another busy week!
We are at the end of another busy week in Year 5. After the disappointment of the cancellation of swimming we have managed to have a successful week.
The pupils engaged with another Let's think in English session, discussing poetry, challenging and developing on the views of their peers. We have started to add and subtract fraction and we have been using a range of hands on activities to help us with this.
As you know on Wednesday we went to the Anglo-Saxon village at West Stow to investigate our Topic further. The pupils searched around the Saxon homes looking for clues about how the Saxons live. We went to the Great Hall to listen to some stories and we were lucky enough to hear some Saxon instruments being played. The pupils were brilliantly behaved and were a credit to the school.
I hope you all have a relaxing weekend as I’m sure next week is going to be just as busy!
