Observational Drawing.
Year 6 have started their Art journey this year developing their observational drawing skills. Their project culminated in a 3D graphic inky style drawing of a glass bottle filled with coloured water. In addition to this, Year 6 created continuous line drawings in pen, charcoal and pastel drawings (where they had to observe and draw shadows first) and a large colour pastel drawing of multiple glass bottles.
For their final piece of art work, the 3D graphic inky style drawings, the children drew using a paint brush and ink onto foam board. To assemble their drawings they had to use a craft knife and a hot glue gun.
Next half term, Year 6 will be designing and making pop up puppets.
