Complaints Procedure

At Homefield C of E Primary we aim to operate an “open-door” policy and would encourage parents to raise any concerns with our staff. The vast majority of concerns can be dealt with immediately, satisfactorily and informally. This will usually be the class teacher in the first instance but may be another member of staff, such as the SENDCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) or the headteacher. The best time to speak to the class teacher is at the beginning or the end of the school day, or alternatively please call the school office to make an appointment. 

However, occasionally a more formal process is needed and in these circumstances our school follows our Complaints Policy.  This will help ensure that all parties are aware of, and have confidence in, a clear process and channel of communication.
