  • Swimming - Sun protection suits, one piece swimwear or board shorts and top to be worn with a swimming hat. Swimming kit to be brought in a separate bag.

Indoor PE will be done in bare feet, but children will require  trainers for outdoor PE.

Children need a change of footwear including wellington boots and if possible wet weather clothing to wear at lunchtimes as we go out in all weathers and make full use of our woodland area.

Early Years

Nursery and Reception children need to wear a white polo shirt and a grey skirt/trousers. School jumpers or cardigans should also be worn. Grey shorts or a navy checked summer dress can be worn in the warmer weather

To promote independence we think it is a great idea to plan your child’s uniform so that they can dress themselves with the minimum of help. Elasticated skirts and trousers are a super idea, especially for the younger children. Velcro fastening shoes can also save lots of time until the tricky skill of ‘lace tying’ has been mastered.

ALL CLOTHES NEED TO BE NAMED. All of the uniform that includes the school logo can be ordered from Harrisons Schoolwear, in Gorleston. Please note that we do not hold stock in school and all other items of school uniform can be purchsed in supermarkets/other clothing shops.

Hair styles, make-up and accessories

We ask that children come to school with a ‘sensible’ hairstyle that is suitable for school.

No make-up of any description is to be worn, such as nail varnish or lipstick etc. If accessories are needed for longer hair styles (hair bands, bobbles etc) we ask that these are of a ‘sensible’ and ‘suitable’ style.

Jewellery

Children with pierced ears must wear studs only.  Watches may be worn, but not watches that can link to the internet, take video or record. No other jewellery is to be worn.
