The Local Authority sets criteria for the allocation of school places and they have sole responsibility for admissions. Contact details and guides to the admissions process can be found below.

At Homefield C of E Primary School, we can admit children into Nursery the term following their third birthday, and children into Reception during the academic year in which they are five. We follow the Norfolk Admissions Policy, including their procedures for when the school is over subscribed.

Reception parents are required to register their request for their child to attend Homefield C of E Primary School with Norfolk County Council by the end of the December prior to the September they ought to be starting. This is the only way to ensure that your child is considered for a school place. Please click on the link below for more information.

In the summer term, all new parents for Nursery and Reception will be invited to a parents’ information session, you will also be invited to attend a welcome session with your child. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about your child’s transition to our school and ask any further questions you may have.
